Transparency International Russia (TI-R, an independent national chapter of the Transparency International, http://www.transparency.org/) is a non-governmental organization devoted to combating corruption.
It brings civil society, business, and governments together in a global coalition. TI-R works to increase levels of accountability and transparency, monitoring the performance of key institutions and pressing for necessary reforms in a non-party political manner. In an effort to make long-term gains against corruption, TI-R focuses on prevention and reforming systems.
TI-R is co-coordinating projects and activities to raise awareness about corruption, including monitoring activities that assess government or private sector compliance with policy commitments as well as procurement, privatization and election financing. In addition, TI-R is intended to service and benefit NGOs, the private sector, media, policy makers as well as the general public by providing the knowledge necessary to understand corruption and act against it.
The TI-R Anti-Corruption Resource Center provides up to date information, including best practices, research and anti-corruption legislation. It also raises awareness about the scope and impact of corruption on Russia’s development. The ACRC in Russia serves as:
- a vehicle to raise public awareness, launch campaigns, disseminate know how and tools

- an instrument to build a sustainable anti-corruption network
Services of the ACRC are open to representatives of NGOs, students, researchers, journalists, public officials and others engaged in researching corruption related issues. They include:
