The Initiative has been developed by tour operators internationally with the support of UNEP, UNESCO and the World Tourism Organization (WTO/OMT).
Members of the Initiative have formed Working Groups in four key
areas of action:
- sustainability reporting
- cooperation with destinations
- supply chain management
- communication
