The PNoWB is a global action-oriented organisation of parliamentarians advocating for transparency and accountability in international development. The articles of association of the Network define its broad aims:
- to create a forum of discussion, to inform parliamentarians about the World Bank’s role in poverty reduction and to convey readiness to share knowledge resources
- to exchange views on the role of parliamentarians in international development
- to engage parliamentarians in a reflection on future development challenges
