NEPAN’s focus is on recognising the significance of information in the development process maintaining substantive programme of support aimed at improving access to knowledge applied to participatory development process. Also, it has been responding more effectively to the specific requirements of different users in obtaining full advantages of the opportunities provided by new information technologies needed to increase appropriate use of information services. The areas of NEPAN activities includes are dissemination of research and contemporary findings through available media means such as organising seminars, workshops, conferences and publications; introduction of new technology for information acquisition and management such as software upgrade, updating Resource Centre and carry out other promotional activities.
