EDGE is pleased to welcome Tobias Troll to its staff as Director, EDGE Europe.

Tobias is involved in global justice, citizens’ engagement and global learning as expert, trainer, facilitator and coordinator since the beginning of this millennium. For the last eight years he worked for CONCORD, the European Confederation of Development NGOs, implementing the DEEEP project (“Citizens empowerment for global justice”). As project manager, he was responsible for a number of landmark activities and events, such as the European Citizens Summit 2014 (“Beyond Europe’s Growth Obsession”) or the global conference cycle “Towards a World Citizens Movement”. He is a longstanding member of the transnational Smart CSOs Lab, a global community of practice of more than 1000 civil society activists, researchers and funders committed to systemic change. Tobias holds a master degree in communication at the University of Arts in Berlin and a MA in development education at the Institute of Education/University of London.
