The Tajik State University of Commerce offers post graduate courses, and focuses on teaching and research in the field of economics and commerce. It is a member of the International Resource Network on business and economic education (EdNet).
In addition to its teaching and research, the University works in collaboration with a broad range of high schools and universities in the CIS region and abroad to develop educational and scientific/technical projects focusing on, but not limited to, areas such as:
- economics and management
- global economy (international trade-economic relations)
- international market of goods and service
- information systems in economics
