PENT Fundación, Argentina, is a think / action tank created in July 2002 which focuses on developing academic proposals and in-depth analysis of the structural problems of Argentina. It hosts conferences and seminars and produces interdisciplinary research focusing on social, economic and political-institutional approaches. The Foundation generates and spreads information, ideas and proposals in order to:

  • influence the national agenda
  • inform and improve policy making
  • strengthen the quality and performance of Argentinean institutions
  • promote and enhance public debate.

Current projects include ‘Human Capital: A Demographic, Social and Educational Map of Argentina’ and ‘Poverty, Unemployment and Inequality’. The Spanish language website includes details of the organisation, its activities and staff, with a mission statement in English. Publications in both English and Spanish are available to download.
