The work of the IRiSS includes:
- the staging of regular research seminars, symposia/workshops and other networking opportunities, to enable exchanges both ‘inside and outside’ policy discourses
- the provision of expert analysis, consultancy, and strategic research
- postgraduate research training, mentoring and supervision
