The International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) is a global organisation working to speed the development and distribution of preventive AIDS vaccines. IAVI’s work focuses on four areas: mobilizing support through advocacy and education; accelerating scientific progress; encouraging industrial participation in AIDS vaccine development; and assuring global access.
The website provides access to AIDS vaccine news, information about HIV/AIDS and why a vaccine is needed, vaccine science, IAVI research, information on IAVI’s access programme and information about IAVI itself. IAVI also produces a newsletter called the IAVI Report.
