CASE-Kyrgyzstan is an independent not-for-profit research organization set up in 1998 with the goal of assisting social and economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic through research, training and advisory activities.
The Center undertakes research in the following areas:
- macroeconomic forecasting
- problems of fiscal, monetary and social policy
- agricultural economics
- foreign trade
- institutional changes and privatization
- investment climate
CASE-Kyrgyzstan publishes quarterly Kyrgyz Economic Outlook containing a detailed analysis of recent developments in Kyrgyz economy and short-term forecast of basic macroeconomic indicators.
CASE-Kyrgyzstan also acts as an advisory on technical issues to the Administration of the President, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and other government agencies.
The Center is involved in training programs in economics, public finance, econometrics, poverty monitoring, and information technologies for government officials of different ministries and agencies as well as NGO and academia representatives.
