Established in 1997, the WAF is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that brings together the global leaders and stakeholders whose work it is to advance solutions to the critical issues facing the agricultural and food community.
The World Agricultural Forum (WAF) is a forum for discussing and examining of current and developing domestic and global agricultural policy. The vision of the WAF is to act as the catalyst to advance solutions as the agricultural industry seeks to meet the growing need for food, fuel and fiber in an environmentally sustainable manner. The WAF also provides a point of interaction between global leaders and decision makers from all facets of agriculture – finance, research, production, technology, government, processing, distribution, consumers, academia, public policy, manufacturing and advocacy.
The website includes a media centre, links and resources, and membership services. It also holds information on the World and Regional Congresses that take place in alternating years.
