This Group supports academic research on issues of political violence, international aid, and human rights.
The current focus of research is a project dealing with the international human rights movement. A multi-year, quantitative study of the human rights discourse in the Western media, and reporting by transnational non-governmental organisations, is curently underway. In future years, the Group plans to conduct historical and field research on human rights organisations.
