RECOUP is a research partnership of seven institutions from the UK, Ghana, India, Kenya and Pakistan, funded by the UK Department for International Development, and led by the University of Cambridge. The research programme is examining the impact of education on the lives and livelihoods of people in developing countries, particularly the poor. Its purpose is to generate new knowledge that will improve education and poverty reduction strategies, through an enhanced recognition of education’s actual and potential role. Our website offers access to our series of working papers that is related to our areas of research and copies of our initial policy briefings.
