RERIC (part of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT: see separate entry) collects and repackages information in the fields of energy planning, energy conservation, solar, wind and biomass energy, and small-scale hydro-power. Centre provides a reference and referral service, mostly from an intermediate/appropriate technology point of view. Operates publishing and training programmes.

(a) WWW server: information on publications and programmes
(b) Library: reference and document delivery services
(c) Energy Database: bibliographical database (with abstracts). Some 9000 entries, from 1981 to date. Covers books, theses, research reports, conference proceedings and article. Database available online.
