Participatory Avenues promotes the diffusion of Participatory 3D Modeling (P3DM) as best practice for merging people’s knowledge and traditional spatial information and acts as focal point for sharing information and technical progress on community-based mapping and participatory GIS.
Participatory Avenues aims:
- At sharing significant progress in visualizing community-based knowledge and perceptions
- Providing stakeholders and less-favored community members added clout in tailoring and owning development and natural resource management initiatives.
