The Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences was established in 1987 to address dramatic changes in Europe, new security system and prospects and consequences of the European cooperation. The Institute undertakes interdisciplinary studies of political, economic, military-political, information, social and others issues related to Europe. Forecasting is one of the top priorities of research.
