The Institute for Future Studies is a research foundation researching and providing long -range analyses on future threats to social development and related opportunities.
In addition to research activities, the Institute publishes the magazine Framtider (a few English editions) and organises seminars and other activities open to the public.
The current research programme, Society and the Future will run from 2005 to 2008 inclusive.
