The International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) carries out the following work on education in emergencies and reconstruction:
- research and training to help achieve education for all in conflict-affected countries
- collaborating with numerous national and local educational actors, including INEE, on activities in conflict-affected countries
- building capacity of educational planners and managers in conflict-affected nations and raising awareness of the need to conduct education in conflict, emergencies and reconstruction.
