The main goal of the “Computer Science for Democracy” (INDEM Foundation) is to contribute to the development of democratic institutions in Russia, as well as by disseminating information about the operation of these institutions, through advancements in:
- political sociology
- political science
- jurisprudence
- economics
- sociology
- social psychology
- information technology and other applied sciences.
One of the main instruments for advancing these initiatives is a support for the Center for Applied Political Research.
The primary focus of INDEM’s activities and inquiry are:
- domestic, foreign and international parliaments
- other elective state and international governmental and administrative bodies
- youth politics
- associations of public and noncommercial organisations
- economic institutions
- domestic, foreign and international principles, forms of and methods for the creation of democratic institutions
- social and political consciousness among voters
- principles, forms and methods of election campaigning and the issuing of referendums in Russia and abroad
The INDEM Foundation works independently and in collaboration with domestic and foreign legal entities and individuals on any project, program, or initiative deemed to be in the interest of the Foundation.
