Civil society network that aims to promote effective participation of civil society in poverty eradication in Zambia, through poverty monitoring, information dissemination, advocacy and capacity building in partnership with government and other stakeholders.
Core activities comprise:
- training for monitoring the implementation of Zambia’s Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper
- sensitisation programmes for different stakeholders
- publicising poverty documents, advocacy, policy developments, and base-line study for PRSP monitoring and capacity building for poverty reduction programs.
Their website hosts a variety of material aimed at promoting awareness and understanding on poverty. It mainly comprises workshop reports, seminar presentations and research reports. The network was set up in October 2000
