CORT, India is a research and training organisation, focusing on reproductive health research that has immediate policy relevance. CORT has special interest and expertise in contraceptive use dynamics, abortion, operations research in sexual and reproductive health, adolescent sexuality, HIV/AIDS and violence.
CORT is actively involved in building research capacity of nongovernmental organisations (NGOs), research organisations, individuals, and young social scientists. It seeks to enhance utilisation of research findings by promoting a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
