The Center for International Relations (CIR) is an independent, non-governmental establishment studying Polish foreign policy as well as those issues of international politics that are of importance to Poland. The CIR’s focus is reflected in the Centre’s seven permanent programs:
- European Union Reform
- Towards a New Partnership project: NATO and the EU vis-à-vis Russia and the Post-Soviet Areas
- Poland, Germany and transatlantic relations
- Polish and EU migration policies
- Eastern Policy
- EU enlargment
The Center’s prime objective is to offer political counseling, monitor the government’s foreign policy moves and describe Poland’s current international situation. It prepares reports and analyses, holds conferences and seminars, publishes books and articles, carries out research projects and supports working groups.
