APC is an global computer network dedicated specifically to serving NGOs and activists working for social change. It is composed of a number of member networks, each with a particular subject or geographical focus. These networks provide email services, access to the Internet, and host a large number of electronic “conferences” (a bulletin-board format for email discussion lists) which are (selectively) copied to member systems.
