The Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) is an apolitical, and non-confessional international relief agency created in Afghanistan. This agency develops about 160 projects a year covering emergency relief, food security, health and populations, economic development, natural disaster prevention and cultural promotion. They are active in 5 continents in 12 countries (Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kosovo, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Serbia, Macedonia, Nicaragua, Congo-Brazzaville, Congo RDC and Iraq).
