SSRonline is a project funded by the UK Government’s Global Conflict Prevention Pool and aimed at supporting Security Sector Reform in societies in transition. It is formed by a team of academics and practitioners at Cranfield University’s Shrivenham campus. The team is a resource for the UK Government and international partners facilitating policy development and capacity building for Security Sector Reform initiatives.
It has three core objectives:
- supporting policy development
- assisting capacity-building
- developing an information repository
The website provides access to:
- database of resources, containing documents, events, organisations, contacts and a glossary
- publications
- discussion forum
