The Institute of Population and Social Research (IPSR) is a research and postgraduate training institute. It undertakes research, conducts training, provides academic services and disseminates information on population and development issues affecting the region.

IPSR’s activities include collaborative research programs with other institutes in Asia. It has been designated as a WHO (World Health Organization) Collaborating Centre for Research in Human Reproduction and as an UNAIDS Collaborating Centre.

The Institute runs a Phd program in Demography, an MA in Population and Social Research and an MA in Population and Reproductive Health Research. It also runs several postgraduate short courses and training programs in population and reproductive health. IPSR arranges short course on special topics by request.

The Institute’s website is in both Thai and English. It provides details about the institute, its courses (including admission and course requirements), research and publications. The library catalogue is available online. Abstracts of articles from the Institute’s journal can be downloaded in Thai and English.
