What is IHP+Results?

IHP+Results is a consortium of researchers and civil society organisations (click here for more details) that has been mandated by the Independent Health Partnership and Related Initiatives (IHP+) to annually undertake “…an independent, evidence-based assessment of results at country level and of the performance of each [signatory] individually as well as collectively”

IHP+Results independently monitors IHP+ signatories progress in implementing their commitments on aid effectiveness in the health sector over an initial period from 2009 to 2011.

Results are published in an annual performance report with Partner- and Country- Scorecards as their central feature. Scorecards provide a simple, one-page graphical overview of the progress that an agency or country is making in implementing its IHP+ commitments. Click here for more information on the scorecard approach.

IHP+Results is working closely with existing aid effectiveness monitoring processes, most notably through the OECD/DAC Task Team on Health as a Tracer Sector (TT HATS), of which IHP+Results is a contributing member. All of IHP+Results findings will be made available to support preparations for the Fourth High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan, Republic of Korea, at the end of 2011.
