- R&D activitiesJordforsk conducts applied, specifically targeted research in order to contribute to the long-term management of soil, water, waste and landscape resources. Issues of current interest in society determine the focus of Jordforsk’s activities, and strives to adapt the utilisation of results from our research to the needs of the public. Clients include private businesses, public authorities and agencies, consultants and individuals
- International activitiesJordforsk’s scientists have established extensive international networks through international projects and participation in various committees, working groups, seminars and workshops. Jordforsk is involved in several EU projects, and in a wide range of research and development projects in the Baltic Sea Region, Latin and South America, South East Asia and Eastern Africa. Research topics include land degradation, soil and water conservation, environmental monitoring and watershed management, environmental impact assessments, ecological sanitation systems and rehabilitation of contaminated soils
