Justice Africa works with a network of organizations based in Africa, initiating and supporting civil society activities for human rights, democracy, and peace. Initially focusing on the Horn of Africa, the network now includes the Great Lakes region. Through partnership with regional NGOs and sub regional institutions, Justic Africa aims to cover most of Africa in the near future.
Justice Africa hosts the African Civil Society Governance and AIDS Initiative (GAIN). Other programmes include: the Civil Project in Sudan; Peace & Security in Africa; Constitutional Implementation in Eritrea & the Greater Horn; The Citizen’s Forum in Rwanda; and HIV/AIDS.
