The Digital Education Enhancement Project (DEEP) is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) UK, and is a partnership between the Centre for Research and Development in Teacher Education in the Open University, UK; the University of Fort Hare, Eastern Cape, South Africa, and; the Programme, Planning and Monitoring Unit of the Egyptian Ministry of Education in Cairo, Egypt.
DEEP’s main purpose is to investigate the ways in which educators can use ICT to improve teaching and learning in numeracy, science and literacy.
