The University of Economics (UE), Ho Chi Minh City is an economic research, teaching and training center. UE conducts economic research in support of training, policy making, industrial development and strategic planning at both national and local level, undertakes training of managers and policymakers in Vietnam, offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economics and also offers consultancy services.

UE is organized into the following subject areas:

  • Faculty of Political Economics
  • Faculty of Development Economics
  • Faculty of Public Finance
  • Faculty of Business Administration
  • Faculty of Foreign Trade and Tourism
  • Faculty of Corporate Finance and Monetary Affairs
  • Faculty of Accounting and Auditing
  • Faculty of Statistics, Econometrics and Informatics

In addition to these faculties, UE consists of 2 administrative faculties, 7 supporting offices, 4 specialized departments, 9 centers and the Economic Development Review as well as some other supporting bodies.
