NAP is a USA publisher, publishing materials for the National Academy of Sciences, National Acaemy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine and the National Research Council. Much of its output is focused on USA or USA policy, but it does publish on science/health/policy issues relevant to developing countries.
WWW includes a book ordering service and makes available free online the full text of many of its titles (these can also be ordered as print copies).
