Multidisciplinary database of information about data holdings of potential interest to the scientific research community in the areas of earth science, biosphere, climate and global change. Datasets are listed from a wide range of data centres, located in both the internationally. A copy of the directory is held at the three participating sites of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS) International Directory Network (IDN): Global Change Data Centre, USA; European Space Agency (ESA), Italy; National Space Development Agency (NSDA), Japan. All host a copy of the complete directory.
Datasets are searchable by keyword. The Directory services also include supplementary descriptions about these data centers, projects, and data sources. Where possible, a link will be offered to the data itself (as well as a meta-data description)
