The Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi) is an independent, needs-driven, non-profit entity that will develop new drugs or new adaptations or formulations of existing drugs for patients suffering from the most neglected communicable diseases. Acting in the public interest, it will bridge the existing research and development gaps in essential health tools for these diseases by initiating and coordinating drug research and development projects in collaboration with the international research community, the public sector, the pharmaceutical industry, and other relevant partners.
The website provides access to information on the Initiative, including the vision, mission, objectives and scope of the organisation.
