Calala seeks to strengthen feminist and women’s movements, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean, by raising funds and awareness and giving grants to strengthen women’s organizations, grassroots groups and movements. In addition to this, it plans to generate resources from new sources that do not currently contribute to the work of women’s organizations, especially small and grassroots groups that do not have access to traditional donors.
