Gendernet is a Danish Network established in 2006 composed of a broad range of Danish non-governmental organisations, institutions and resource persons to encourage joint co-ordination and sharing on gender and rights issues in development work. Gendernet counts 29 member organisations.
Within Gendernet’s area of expertise the network seeks to strengthen awareness and commitment, develop organisational capacity and strengthen cooperation and knowledge sharing between organisations. This is done through a range of different activities such as thematic groups, seminars, homepage, newsletter etc.
