EDGE Europe retreat 8 to 10 July: Registration open

group croppedEuropean EDGE members, partners and foundations thinking about becoming members are invited to join us for the annual EDGE Europe retreat in the beautiful organic farm La Bergerie, one hour from Paris, from Friday, 8 to Sunday, 10 July 2016 (collective departure from Paris centre on Friday, 8 July at 13:30).

One year after the inaugural meeting of the EDGE Funders Alliance in Europe, and six months after the creation of a European secretariat, the meeting will bring together actual and potential EDGE members in Europe and representatives of philanthropic partner networks of EDGE. It will allow consolidating EDGE in Europe in terms of joint identity, work program, membership and statutory questions.

The yearly EDGE Europe retreat is an important convening to further develop EDGE in Europe and safe space for funders to discuss how philanthropy can contribute to advance a just transition to a new economy. It is a great opportunity to explore with peers the practices and challenges for foundations working towards a just transition, and to meet inspiring resources persons and philanthropy colleagues committed to systemic change.

Participation is free: Venue, accommodation and catering are generously covered by the Charles Leopold Mayer Foundation. However, participants are asked to cover their travel costs.

Formal members of EDGE have priority access to the event if demand exceeds capacity of the venue.

Space is limited, so better register your place already now!
